Geo-IP & Device Parsing
When a short link or bio page receives a click, our edge resolver performs two primary lookups:
Edge Geo-IP Resolution
Maps client IP addresses to countries and city regions at the edge layer. We do not store raw IP addresses on disc, preserving GDPR privacy standards while supplying detailed visual maps.
User-Agent Parsing
Decodes headers to categorize device profiles (Mobile, Tablet, Desktop) and operating system platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS). Helps optimize link deep routing targeting.
UTM Campaign Tracking
Standardize marketing link performance. Lenklyst includes an inline UTM builder that appends standard marketing queries:
